Big Game fishing (until 6 pers.)

This type of fishing category consists of anchoring the vessel and drifting by the stream while we are trolling; generally crush sardines, mackerel or scads. When fishing, you put baits with other specimen pieces and they are located in different depths. The aim of this kind of fishing is to get as much fish as possible and it is focus on big preys such as red tuna and sharks.
 

When any of these big fish bite, there is a really struggle between the fisherman and the prey. On one hand, the prey’s wish is to survive and on the other hand, the fisherman yearns for catching the prey. It is often a frustrating and exhausting struggle, though the reward is worth it!
 

In order to practise this type of fishing, we suggest you enjoy this trip with one of the best Balearic littoral fisherman, with whom we will go to the fishing areas on a vessel called Sea Ray Laguna Fisher 310 of 9,44 metres long and 3,60 metres breadth, which is ideal for fishing both big game and jigging. The power of its two engines, each 300hp, guarantees arriving faster to the fishing-grounds.

The fishing equipment consists of two Kilwell International 130 rods with Gladiator 12/0 reels and two rods more with it´s corresponding 80 lb. Alutecnos reels and 50 lb reels for the swordfish in the big game fishing.

• Cap or hat, swimwear, sunscreen and towel.
• Book the activity on the first days of your holidays in order to, if weather impede it, depart other day.

• Instructors speaks majorquin, spanish and english.
• This tour must be booked at least 48 hours in advance of your travel date.
• Confirmation for this activity will be received within 24 hours after your booking, subject to availability.
• A minimum of 1 person is requiered to book. The maximum number of passengers at vessel are 6. For a bigger number of passengers, it could be possible to make a request, with beforehand, in order to prepare other vessel.
