Are you ready to feel as if you were a bird and see beautiful Majorcan spot from the air? Then, this is the tour you are looking for!
The best way to get to know the island is from a bird’s-eye view. Therefore, we offer you the opportunity to take this tour by helicopter.
Firstly, we will go to Sóller Harbour, crossing the Tramontana Range, with an elevation of 1445 metres (Puig Major), spectacular scenery of craggy valleys and monolithic tops that dominates the island.
From Sóller Harbour and following the coastline, we can see some small villages like Deià, where Robert Graves lived so many years (in fact, he was buried here) or the mansion of the famous actor Michael Douglas called S´Estaca which is a country house acquired by Archduke Luis Salvador in XIX century and later gave to his lover, Catalina Homar.
Nature offers us a surprise called Sa Foradada. It is an old islet situated between Deià Cove and el Caló de S´Estaca. Its particularity is that it has a hole in its horizontal axis (foradat in the Majorcan language).
Little by little, we can appreciate in the horizon the shape of Dragonera Island, declared Natural Park in 1995. And as such, it shelters numerous animal species and vegetables unique in the Mediterranean that are on this small island, which is their particular sanctuary.
Finally, the tour ends in Palma, where the emblematic constructions of Bellver Castle, one of third in Europe with round floors, and the majestic Gothic Cathedral, will impress us from this singular bird’s-eye view.
