Throughout the course, the basic deep-sea diver’s knowledge will be expanded, improving the technique and the experience when diving under certain special conditions. It is an all practical course, in which the student takes an active part in planning his own dives, reviewing the use of Decompression Charts and paying attention to certain special considerations for each of the five dives to be completed, until 30 metres depth.
These five dives have different characteristics: two of them are compulsory (dive and underwater navigation) and three are optional, you can choose between:
- Dive boat.
- Dive Propulsion Vehicle (DPV or Scooter).
- Multi-level diving.
- Night Diving.
- Peak Performance Buoyancy.
- Search and Recovery Dive.
- Underwater Naturalist.
- Underwater Videographer.
- Underwater Photographer.
- Underwater Navigator.
- Identifying fish (PADI Project AWARE programme).
The best is to practise skin-diving into the warm Mediterranean waters, where there are plenty of marine species, the marine ecosystems wealth and the Pristine Waters. There is no such an exciting experience or so strong stream of feelings as diving into the sea: the serenity environment, the lightness of our bodies, breathing under the sea ….Only divers know what this feeling is!!!
