This course consists of training in accident prevention and assistance techniques. The student will develop the skills in observation of other divers and will learn to perform diver assistance and rescues effectively in emergency situations. He will develop a sense of responsibility, preventing and avoiding hazardous situations.
This course consists of five theoretical phases of and twelve practical. Within the theoretical steps are included self-rescue knowledge, diver stress evaluation, first aid, emergency management and equipment. Practices will take place in the sea where twelve different exercises related to divers salvage and rescue will be carried out.

- Minimum age of 15 required (under paternal authorization).
- PADI Open Water qualification or equivalent; Emergency First Response Primary Care (C.P.R.) training.
- Certify at least 20 dives.
